We first visited The Spot in August 2025. At that time, the opening by the lake was little more than a small trail. As we began developing the property, we soon met many “visitors” who came to fish. Several of them referred to the lake as The Spot, and we decided to keep that name for posterity. Since purchasing the land on Good Friday 2025, we have continued developing it as the Good Lord leads. Many kind people have helped transform it into a true respite—a place to enjoy God’s beautiful provision. With their help, we have added a carport pavilion, a donated shed, and a dock. We also widened the area at The Spot to accommodate our camper and provide room for visitors to set up tents. Already, several individuals and groups have enjoyed the peace and beauty God has provided here. Our prayer is that The Spot will continue to be a place of rest, encouragement, and fellowship for our church’s leadership and ministries, as well as for our own family.  Praise the Lord.
